Step by Step display of points on a map

HI,

Is it possible to set up a step by step display of points on a map following a timescale ?

For instance,

Set up Geo Points for stores and display on mouse click each purchase made in thoses stores.

Each purchase is defined by a date, a store and an amount.

Maybe it is possible to have the timescale on the map and to "play" the sequence to display geo points one after antoher ?
