Cannot edit Word template anymore

Hello,

I created a NPrinting report yesterday with a word template and everything worked fine.

But today, when I tried to edit the template, I get the following error :

Error.PNG

When I click on the "Ok" button, then NPrinting opens without any template inside, and the word template document opens in a separated word windows....

Error2.PNG

I cannot edit any other report (just created or existing) with a word template since that.

I'm working with the 18.0.1 NPrinting designer version and Microsoft Office 365 version 16.

Thanks in advance for your help

Romain

Hi,

Microsoft Office 365 is not supported, you must use a local version of Office.

Refer to https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/System-requirements_....

Best Regards,

Ruggero

The solution is to install one of the supported Microsoft Office version listed in the page https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/System-requirements_....

Office 2016 is supported but not in the 365 version. So you must remove the 365 version and install a supported Office.

HTML and PixelPerfect templates do not need Office.

Hi,

I finally found the issue : it is happening when I have a second screen plugged to my computer in HDMI.

If I unplug the 2nd screen, I can edit the template ...

I raised a ticket to the Qlik support.

Best regards

Romain
