How to use Cycle to sheets in Excel document in Qlik Nprinting?

Hello,

We use Qlik Qlik NPrinting  May 2021 SR1

Is it possible to cycle through a dimension and export each cycle to a new Excel sheet in one document?

For example;

SalesPerson A  has in his SalesPersonCountries 3 countries configured: DE, FR, ES

AND SalesPerson B has only 1 country configured: IT

Is it possible to create a task where SalesPerson A retrieve one Excel Document with 3 Sheets: DE, FR and ES

and salesPerson B retrieve one Excel document with 1 sheet: IT

Is something like this possible?

Kind regards,

To accomplish this, you will need to utilize two features:

  • NPrinting User filters
  • NPrinting Designer Page feature

NP User filters:

  • Create a three-country filter for user A using DE, FR, ES:  SalesPerson A  has in his SalesPersonCountries 3 countries configured: DE, FR, ES
  • Add this 3-country filter to user A in the NP web console Admin>Users>User filters
  • Create a single country filter for user B using IT: SalesPerson B has only 1 country configured: IT
  • Add this single country filter to user B in the NP web console Admin>Users>User filters

Setting user filters

Creating a static filter

NPrinting Designer Page feature

  • Open the NP designer
  • Add the 'country' dimension to the 'Page' component

Applying Pages

Last,

Add user A and user B to your distribution task

Creating publish tasks

This should result in:

  • User A received an xlsx that contains 3 sheets: one sheet per country ie: DE, FR, ES
  • User B received an xlsx that contains 1 sheet: one sheet ie: IT

If I have understood your requirement hopefully this will help you.

Kind regards...

You be able to accomplish this by using the level functionality when creating NPrinting report. See the below link.

Hello Lucas,

Thank you so much for your time. Much appreciated!

The level does the cycle in one Excel sheet.

I am searching for a solution that each cycle add a new Excel sheet. Do you know if this is possible?

Thanks again.
