Dividing Sheets in Nprinting by Monthly data

Hello all,

Right how I have data from February until Today. Rather than showing Feb>Mar data in our sheets sent out to customers we are looking to split the pages by a month of data at a time. So hopefully splitting my one sheet into two. One with February data and another with March Data. How would I go about doing this? I already have a level set up to split by the location column. Would I need to make a element of the report that just represents the data so I can add it to the level? If I do that then it will split by all different dates and not by month. So should I use a month function on the date and put it in a special type of cell? So far have not found anything that works so reachign out for ideas.

Thanks!

Hi,

a lot depends on your Qlik Data model but I will try to describe it as simple as possible.

Hi

  1. Make this page your best friend: https://help.qlik.com and use it to search for answers
  2. I guess you also need to select a Year somewhere - so a year filter should be created in NPrinting. https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2020/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Static-dynam...
  3. Once year is selected then you would need to use a <Page> functionality to create your Month sheets. For this you must have Month column in your data model. (given that you are using Excel template which you are not telling us, but you are saying key words like "cell" and "sheet" hence my assumption) https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2020/Content/NPrinting/ExcelReports/Create-Excel-Repor...

If you are after anything else... please describe it little bit better with samples and screenshots.
