Does NPrinting Server have to be installed on the same machine as QlikView Server?

and do I have to assign a Named CAL to the Windows user under which the NPrinting Server is running?

NPrinting does not ahve to be isntalled on the same machine but it is recommended

and yes, you do need to have a named CAL for the user that the nprinting service is running under.  Alos, the user that the nprinting service runs under, cannot be the same user running the QlikView services
