Hi Bhaskar,

Make sure that your NPrinting Service user has "Log On As Service" allowed.

you can find above settings as follows,

Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policies -> Local Policies -> User Right Assignment -> Log on As Service

Add your Nprinting Service user to list.

Hi,

I had the same issue with NPrinting 17.4 with Qlik Sense. Both on the same server (demo environment)

I was in touch with Qlik Support. They told me it's a known issue, that uninstalling 17.4 and installing 17.3 resolved the issue for another customer.

I did it and it solved the issue for me.

Hi Kavita,

  1. Are both QlikSense and NPrinitng in the same domain? Can they both access domain controllers?
  2. Upgrade your NPrinting to version February 2018. I had the same error for since version 17.4 i think, and it was for me "false positive". The latest version fixed the problem.
  3. Go To Nprinitng admin console --> users --> find a qlksrvadmin user and make sure that DOMAIN ACCOUNT is filled for the user running the NPrinting engine (kalpatarugroup\qlksrvadmin)
  4. Do you have all required ports open between NPrinting and Qlik Sense? Certificates exported and installed? User added to RootAdmins.. looks like this user cannot access QRS API

cheers

Lech

Hi @Lech_Miszkiewicz ,  I'm curious if you are still successfully running NPrinting in a multi-domain Windows environment. I am trying it with NPrinting February 2019. No luck so far -- I cannot refresh the metadata in my NPrinting app. Sense is in its own workgroup and not on the domain where the NPrinting service account is. I cannot log into Sense with that account in a browser on the Sense machine. (Users normally authenticate via SAML.) On top of that, the 2 servers are on different networks so 2 firewalls are between them.

I did make the svc account a RootAdmin in Sense (and it is in Sense thanks to a UDC). I also exported SSL certs to NPrinting.

Thanks for any tips!
