Error and warning messages in NPrinting 2020

I wonder who designed the system 😫, which displays internal database codes instead of user-friendly information. Very poor implementation of messages

I am really disappointed with Qlik...

Re: Error and warning messages in NPrinting 2020

Hi,

Qlik NPrinting log messages use the IDs because IDs are unique for each entity and this avoid any kind of ambiguity. To decode an ID you can just copy and paste it in the URL. For example, to decode the ID of a report you can simply open a report in your Qlik NPrinting serve with an address like  https://YourServer:4993/#/reports/ReportID and replace the ReportID with the one you want to decode.

If you want to contribute to improve the product you can add your suggestions in the new public ideation forum at the address: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Ideas/idb-p/qlik-ideas

Best Regards,

Ruggero
