Hi,

This specific error message is: ERROR: Cannot apply filter Filters.

You are applying an invalid filter, so check all applied filters (object, report, user and task).

You can also check the Task Executions page.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Thanks @Ruggero_Piccoli . May I ask how to identify which filter was the problem ?

Also is there some place we could report this and add it to the Qlik development backlog ?

FYI : The above content was from Tasks execution page.

Go to Qlik Sense and try to apply the filters which are listed in the error log. You will likely get an empty set or one of the selections will cancel another selection or will not be able to apply.

cheers Lech, When applicable please mark the correct/appropriate replies as "solution" (you can mark up to 3 "solutions". Please LIKE threads if the provided solution is helpful to the problem.

I have sympathy for the OP. Is it not possible to show the names of the objects in the error message instead of only the GUIDs?

Hi,

Yes, I can ask to improve the log messages, but please note that GUIDs are unique so using the minimizes the misunderstanding errors.
