Fields Header Alignment issue in NPrinting Pixel Perfect

Hi,

Earlier the PDF is generated with proper Headers for fields , the alignment was good for these field headers.

Now, i am not able to get proper alignment of Field Headers in Pixel NPrinitng.

How to reduce the border size of headers ? i tried with multiple options to reduce field headers, but which is generating with big size of headers in PDF Output.

Please find attached screenshot for your reference.

Regards,

Vara

There are multiple properties which can cause it:

1. "Can grow" property

2. Font size

3. Size of all objects in headers (also images if there are any)

4. The way you built your headers (did you just used table object from right panel and assigned static labels?)

5. If used(conditional formatting)

6. Formatting of whole band where your headers are places

7. Wrap text turned on

8. Padding size

Now your screenshot does not show wide borders so there is not much you can change. What you have to remember is that cell borders are not shared with cell next to each other. In other words if you have a right border on the first cell and you put left border on the cell placed right next to it you will may not see doubled border, but they actually are doubled and may appear bigger.

Border size setting is on left hand side in properties panel (see screenshot)

Make sure you go through Pixel perfect tutorials as you are now playing with the most advanced of NPrinitng templates:

  1. whole section: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/June2019/Content/NPrinting/PixelPerfectReports/Intro-PixelPerf...
  2. go through videos from help site i just marked few on screenshot but there is many many more:  https://help.qlik.com/en-US/search/?q=pixel

  3. go through all available tutorials in documentation:

    2. https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-NPrinting-Documents/QlikView-NPrinting-16-Tutorials-PixelPerfect-...
  4. there is more - I just dont want to copy and paste already existing documents as you can simply search for them here in community.
