Filter selection on dual field ( month )

I have variable set as vReportMonths = (january|february), which I need to set in the NPrinting filters.

But since my month field is typed as dual, it seems I need to set both text and numeric values for the filter to work.

Is there some way I can use my string list without the numeric values as filter?

It looks like you can't select with (selection1|selection2) in NPrinting. Can anyone confirm this? Maybe this is with duals only?
