Hide empty/zeros details on qlik nprinting pixel perfect table

Hi everyone,

i have a nprinting november 2018 pixel perfect report where i would like to hide empty details for a table.

The levels structure is this:

2019-01-18 12_27_54-C__Users_denardm1_AppData_Local_Temp_b995a9fbd5214a678d0334214be4d192_b995a9fbd5.png

i would like to hide details if every column in the final table is =0.

I've already tried below solutions on this discussion https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-NPrinting-Discussions/Empty-levels-in-pixel-perfect-report/td-p/1... it's not working in my case.

Any idea ?

How to hide zeros rows ?

Ruggero,

with your support i found why i didn't see my qliksense straight table on nprinting.

By reading this thread https://qliktech.hosted.jivesoftware.com/thread/308520 you wrote:

2019-01-18 18_11_09-Qlik Nprinting Levels _ Qlik Community.png

So by checking my qliksense straight table i saw that the dimension was calculated:

2019-01-18 18_13_13-NPrinting - Profitability(1) - SSVI Sales Report _ Fogli - Qlik Sense.png

Then, by changing it as below:

2019-01-18 18_14_08-NPrinting - Profitability(1) - SSVI Sales Report _ Fogli - Qlik Sense.png

By refreshing the npriting metadata i found it in the level node list.

Great !!!!

Where did you found the "general rules" ? are there some books/guide ?

Hi,

You need to create a formatting rule that made the entity not visible and apply it to the band or to the cells, depending on the result you want.

Thanks for yuor reply.

From your screeshot i see that you setup the conditions usign [DBUzjm] field from "Sales Vs Margin" level. I suppose this level is a Qlik straight table object, right ?

The problem is that i cannot include object (O\*) on "level" node,  if i try to add a new level a see only fields (F\*), and not object. Why ? Have I to do something in order to add object in the level node ? The object i would like to add is a  Qlik Sense November 2018 straight table.

Hi,

I wrote the rules after a conversation with developers. I also created an improvement for the writers to include them in the official help site.
