How to create a filter on Nprinting for Derived Calendar Fields

Hi All,

I wanted to use Derived Calendar Fields from Qliksense App as a filter on Nprinting but I don't find those fields to select as a filter on NPrinting.

Is there a solution for the above issue?

Thank you.

Regards,

Hi,

I did my testing - Indeed  derived filters are not supported. When you look at Qlik data model those derived fields are not created as "physical/existing" fields. They are only created in UI base on chosen date fields.

I also tried to force create such filter using API to create filter and go response.

The workaround is to create actual fields in your load script.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your response.

For now I will create actual fields as suggested.

Hope there will be a work around by Qlik on this.

The alternative would be to use NPrinting Advanced Search filter on date field you used to create your derived calendar fields. That would not require any Qlik Sense development.
