How to filter a report by one field with multiple values? Users want same report but delivered based on filter on one field

Hi,

I have an NPrinting report that needs to be delivered to multiple users with different values on the same field.

For example the app is Sales app.

User 1 wants a report delivered where it is filtered on Country = France, Germany, UK

User 2 wants the same report delivered where it is filtered on Country = USA, Sweden, France, Belgium

User 3 wants the same report where it is filtered on Country = Australia, New Zealand

It is the same report but delivered to users using different values on the same field.

How can I implement this efficiently?

Yes, you can select multiple values for the same field. Just add a row for each value.

Hi,

Do the following:

  1. create the filters (of course I suppose you already have a working connection) https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2017/Content/FiltersCycles/Filters.htm
  2. assign filters to users https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2017/Content/Security/Intro-Security.htm‌. Users and filters can be imported from Excel files.
  3. create a publish task, add users and reports https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/AdministeringQVNprinting/MonitorKillTasks...

Hi Ruggero,

Thank you for this.

How can I select multiple countries in a filter?

In the Fields tab of a filter, do I simply click Values and add multiple "Value is" rows with a different country each time?
