How to get underlying info from NPrinting in a readable format

Where can I get readable metadata about all the objects in NPrinting?  For audit purposes, I need a way to track changes I make in the NP environment for just about anything... report, apps, connections, users, taks, etc.  I also need a way to see what users are on what Publish Tasks (that is, what uses will get what reports) and by what means whether it be NewsStand, Email, Folder.  I also need to know which reports allow On Demand.  Can anyone suggest how I can obtain the underlying metadata for these things in readable formatted files (.xml, .log, the postgres db?, etc) that I can basically leverage for source control and change control?  Thanks.

Repository database will give you all the information you need.

The problem as you can imagin sits in tracking all the changes so having some sort of audit log giving you all the information regarding changes. 

I can imagine this as a daily snapshot of all the required data to QVD and then comparison.

Lots of work and lots of development of something what constntly gets improved and changes. Tough one.

Lets see if someone has better idea.

Indeed, a ton of work to do, but we have a client that might require intense auditing of us. 🙄   And I do recall my older post, I just wanted to approach it fresh again since it has been a few years and maybe there were newer solutions or ideas.  Do you know, can I actually see the postgres db file(s) on my NP server?  I poked around but cannot find them.  Thanks.
