Hi Julio,

After step 2 (Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted) you need to execute the suitably edited* PowerShell script. That is, you need to make changes to the SMTP server, port, username & password etc. entries in the file to match your SMTP server settings & credentials. I would then execute the script in the Windows PowerShell ISE so I can see the results.

If it passes (you will see MESSAGE SENT in the output window) use those settings in your NPrinting e-mail settings. If it fails, check the error message and tweak the settings - you may need to consult your SMTP server Administrator and/or log files.

After testing you should follow step 3 - i.e., reset your Execution policy to what it was in step 1.

HTH - Daniel.

*I have attached a modified script for you. You need to add the correct password for nprinting@jomalucar.com (line 20) and edit the "To" e-mail address (line 24) to point to a mailbox you can check.

Hi Julio,

There was bug in 17.1 that prevented e-mails going out if the SMTP server required authentication. This was fixed in 17.2 but I suggest you upgrade to the latest version and try again.

HTH - Daniel.

P.S.- See this article for a way to test your SMTP settings: PowerShell Script to test SMTP settings

Hi Julio,

17.0.2.0 is not an official release. Do you mean 17.2.0? If so I suggest you check your SMTP settings. Here is one way: PowerShell Script to test SMTP settings

EDIT: Just saw the screenshot. You will need to upgrade to 17.2.x.

Hello Dani

Look at running the second command and showed me the following message

I do not know if it's the one you told me

consola shell2.png

What I did was paste the shell file that you published me to the path that executes it and from there configure the User Server, Password, etc ... I do not know if this is correct?
