ISSUE WHILE IMPORTING MULTIPLE IMPORT FILES ON NPRINTING

Hi,

While importing multiple import files in NPrinting for particular user, it removes filter which is already allocated to user.
For Eg. If user has filter A and we are going to import other file with filter B, it removes filter A (Source of both the filter are different).

What settings do you have in all imports? Providing screenshotsand describing whole scenario would allow us understand more. At the moment we only know that you have something configured that is overwriting user settings with each recipient import. You have configured them that they keep fighting each other.

You have to think about strategy how you want to work with imports.  I usually try to use single import to avoid situations like yours. Otherwise you need to configure merge policies for multiple imports etc... All available as per screenshot below:

This is  controlled in import settings.

Hi,

Merging policies and settings are documented in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2020/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Import-Use.... I strongly suggest to start by reading the official help site.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi,

I configured Merge policy while importing multiple files and it's working.

Thanks for the solution.
