Inserting non Qlik NPrinting reports into the Newsstand

Our newsstand users have pre-Qlik NPrinting reports that they would like available in the newsstand.

Is there any option to do this?

Any way we can ask for it as an enhancement?

Hi, Do you mean they have the standard QlikView reports done within the QlikView Report Editor?

I know you used to be able to use the Report ID in older versions, i think with the latest version (and probably a few before too) you can only add a single qlik object ID to a report.

Not that situation. Before Qlik NPrinting the reports were made by spreadsheet - but the users still reference those from time to time.  Key user doesn't want people to hunt in two separate interfaces.

So you want to know if a spreadsheet can be made available in the newsstand??

I doubt that would be an option. 

you could always do a search for an nprinting report thats currently available in the newsstand and place a file in the same folder and see if it appears. 

The newstand is user specific, so i can't see your requirement working.

I'm not sure I understand your requirement exactly but if you mean you want to leverage your NP newsstand to host other Non NPrinting reports ie: excel files, this is not possible.

If you need the information in those reports visible to newsstand users, I suggest creating NPrinting reports using data from QVWs / QVFS that contain the data you need and publish those to the newsstand accordingly.

I understand and accept this is not a feature.

I hope you can understand the business user frustration... his messaging to staff is:

1. Our Qlik NPrinting Newsstand is the place to retrieve all your reporting needs
2. Oh, that is from Feb 2019, if you need early information please remember your xyz location

The Newsstand is a great portal; we would like to have this considered as a future feature.

NPrinting is evolving and growing and I personally think this is a good idea.

I have added this as a feature request. Please let your Qlik Partner or Account manager that you've made the request here.

The internal ID is ID: 2472 in our internal Ideation system.

Our processes are also evolving and at some point, you will hopefully be able to make and track feature requests in the community. We are working on this as a future possibility.

In the meantime, thank you for your idea. Unfortunately I could not even estimate at this time if when and what this feature might look like. Your account manager will be the best person for the time being to push this idea with Qlik Product Management.
