Link to Download Nprinting report

Hi Experts,

I have like 4 excel and one html report being sent to users.

But recently ran in to an issue where amazon SES(SMTP server) has a limit of 10MB size limit and cannot be increased.

Is there any possibility of providing a link to the users and give them the ability to download the reports.?

Yes @imrasyed 

Rather than sending the email, you can distribute the reports to:

1. NewsStand: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/DistributionSchedulesAutomation/News...

2. A network destination

3. If Qlik Sense, the Qlik Sense hub

• Report Destinations 
• Distributing reports to folders
• Distributing reports to the Qlik Sense hub

we have lot of access restrictions to Newstand and Qliksense Hub.

The intended users are like leadership and business owners.They might not want to do all this authentication stuff.

They would just want a link in the email upon click of it can download the excel.

I am not sure about the  2.network destination. Will try with this option.

Where this excel needs to be downloaded from then? From internet? It would be insecure to leave it somewhere where everyone with the link could have an access, right? So still - your users will have to be either:

• in the domain network and then you can store files in a shared folder somewhere on file share
• cope with authentication and either use vpn to get to news stand or QS hub

Obviously it also depends if all your users get the same report or each of them gets report filtered to contain only data they should see - in this case obviously it is much harder as each user should have their own dedicated/secured folder which means a lots of maintenance on file share folders.

Hi @Lech_Miszkiewicz ,

We have a S3 bucket(AWS) where we can store the excel reports and for every excel report a Private web Link can be generated.

But this private link is not static as it works on token based and changes dynamically.

Thats where we are stuck right now.Still looking for other options.

There is no integration between Amazon S3 and Nprinting. Sure-report can be sent to S3 and from there solution is no longer based on NPrinting but on S3 capabilities to notify users that new file arrived etc..

I am not AWS expert, so I am not sure if this can be achieved at all.
