N Printing 17.1 error

Hi All,

when ever i try to preview N printing Report, it throws below exception.

The preview request failed with message:

Report generation failed because node CH10 of type

Qlik.Reporting.Reports.Tree.Template.ImageNode in level root.CustomerRepName_Level

received an ApplyFailureResponse from request 20708117-7a91-4268-b427-ff1eaec9563a.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Could some one suggest me how to debug or fix this issue.

Did you try any of the other report formats? I received the same error when previewing a PixelPerfect report however did not get the error when previewing as an excel report - same connection

We are also having the same issue.

Our reseller sent the logs to Qlik and they said they can't reproduce the error.

Hi Eleni,

We uninstalled 17.1 and degraded to 16.0 as Nprinting team has not provided the solution.

The last of the 'preview' errors was fixed in 17.2.1 .  Are you at the version ?  When you upgrade follow the upgrade procedures in the release notes carefully. need to ensure all services and processes fully close prior to an upgrade.

Hello!

Are you trying to Preview a Pivot Table? If yes - it's a reported Bug to Qlik in Nprinting.

Workaround is only to use a different Chart typ.
