N Printing June 2019 is not getting installed

Dear Techies,

N Printing June 2019 is not getting installed in my machine. Please help me to know what is misconfigured in my machine ? I am adding error logs below:

I think i  reached to the root cause. The problem is in setup file from Feb 2019 SR1. I installed Sep 2018 and it is installed smoothly.

I tried the June 2019 NP set up in another 5 machines and 1 machine has same issue with same error code. 

I have installed Sep 2018 version in my machine and will try to upgrade it to June 2019.

Will share updates soon

Upgrade from Sep 2018 to June 2019 is fine. So my analysis says there is some problem with NP setup files from Feb 2019.

Hi,

There are not know bug on February 2019 setup files that generates errors similar to the ones you posted. 

Maybe downloaded setup files for February 2019 were corrupted.

Hello Rohit,

Just to make you aware, for any future installation / upgrade issues, the below log is also quite helpful in determining what occurred:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\Qlik_NPrinting_Engine_version_date_code_MainPackage.log

The MainPackage log will usually show a bit more information than the standard installation log.

If it happens in my machine only I can understand it is problem with my machine. I saw the same problem in my colleague machine. 

He did the same thing, he installed old version and and upgrade to June 2019. 

If setup fine is corrupted during download then it shouldn't work in upgrade too. 

I tried 10 times to install from scratch Feb 2019 and June 2019 setup but it never worked. I am not saying it is causing problem in all machines. It is  happening in few machines.

Hello Rohit,

Just so I am understanding the issue is it failing on the Server and the Engine component?

Or just one of the NPrinting components?

Are the machines locked down in any way such as Anti-Virus / Scanning?

Can you please exclude the following files just to ensure there are no issues?

 
Lastly, are you R-Clicking and Installing as an Administrator?

Installation is failing at server level. I have no anti virus in my machine. Of course I am running the setup with admin rights.
