NPrinting 17.2 Installation guide

There is a link on this forum with NP 17.1 installation guide. Could not find the same one for recently released 17.2 version (I need to do a fresh install). It's not available on the download site either.

Anybody have it?

Please let me know.

Vlad - it may be possible to run NP and Qlik Sense on the same server but we do not recommend or support this configuration at the moment due to the resources reason you mentioned.

We are working on a way to limit the number of resources/cores that NPrinting uses but this is not anything that will be complete in the near future.

There shouldn't be anything different about the process of installing 17.1 or 17.2.

hi the installation process for 17.2 is the same as 17.1

there isn't that much difference between those 2 versions

Liron, Stephen,

Thank you for the note. I've posted another question to the forum, but just checking if you've tried to install/run the NP on the same server with Qlik Sense?

Based on the 17.1 installation guide it's not a supported configuration. I am assuming it's because of the system resources limitation, but I was hoping somebody managed to handle that before.

Please let me know.

Regards,

Vlad

Good to know!

Thank you Stephen!

I am planning to use AWS r3.4xlarge system for these installations (128 GB RAM, 16 CPUs) and this system should not have significant users' traffic during loading and reports generation tasks execution.

Thank you for thinking about improving this combination in the future..

Have  a nice weekend!

Vlad
