NPrinting 19 On-Demand AP

Hi,

I am trying to install and use On-Demand with QlikView 12 and NPrinting 19. I have followed all the instructions I found on the  qlik help site, including:

- Install add-on on the QVS

- Create a server connection to the qvw, add a report which is enabled for On-Demand

- Activate JWT authentication, add QVS to thrusted sites

- Associate NPrinting web console user with the report to the Windows Active Directory user

But all I get to see when using the Access Point (access from the QVS machine using Firefox) is this:

Any ideas what I missed? There are no reports to select... and it doesn't say "on-demand".

Hi,

Only the two scenarios on the page https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2019/Content/NPrinting/On-Demand/Install-Components.htm are supported:

- Installing Qlik NPrinting On-Demand on a Microsoft IIS hosted QlikView AccessPoint

- Installing the On-Demand Add-on on a QlikView Web Server hosted QlikView AccessPoint

So you need to be sure you followed the instructions under the second point. You could also check the article https://qliksupport.force.com/articles/000043182

The On Demand button should appear on your tool bar menu.

If it does not, then you need to install the On Demand components installer program on the QV IIS server if installed on a different computer from the QVS server.

Please remember hit the 'Like' button and for helpful answers and resolutions, click on the 'Accept As Solution' button. Cheers!

The Add-On is installed on the QVS machine.

Product Version of QVS: 12.10.20400.0

Any other ideas?

Hi,

If you followed the instructions in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2019/Content/NPrinting/On-Demand/Intro-On-Demand.htm you should see the On-Demand button.

Please try to refresh the browser cache or try with another browser.

Might this be an issue: I'm using a QlikView Web Server hosted QlikView AccessPoint, not IIS. ?

Deleting Cache and trying it on IE did not change anything.

Missing buttons may also be attributed to the QlikView Upgrade process which results in missing file extension information.

This is outlined in detail for your convenience in the article posted above by @Ruggero_Piccoli
