NPrinting Date Filter Not Working

Hello All,

I am trying to craft a date filter in NPrinting version 19.0.3.0 . My report is to only show the past 13 months of a chart, and the filter works within the dashboard but not the output into Excel.

I've tried adding the filter to the report, to the task, and within "Edit Template" of the report on each individual table- all to no avail.

The calculated dimension on the chart is as follows.:

=if(SC.MonthYear>= addmonths(today(),-13), SC.MonthYear)

It works on the actual dashboard (showing only the past 13 months), but will not transfer to NPrinting since all dates are shown. Capture.PNG

Can anyone help? I cannot get this to work for the life of me! Thanks in advance!

It appears that you are attempting to calculate an array of values

>= " equal to and greater than "

This is not supported. https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2019/Content/NPrinting/ExcelReports/Formulas.htm

  • "Formulas used in Qlik NPrinting must evaluate to a unique value.

However, the June 2019 release of NPrinting has 'advanced search' feature that may help you to achieve your requirement.

See the following link for information about this feature:

Hope this helps...

Thanks to both of you for your help! I ended up creating a date range flag in the load script to obtain the desired result.
