NPrinting Error

Has anyone ever received the following error message when trying to preview a report in NPrinting:

Capture.PNG

If so, what did you do to fix the issue?

We are using NPrinting 17.3, the .qvw file that is linked to this app is 82k and we have one filter on the current year.  I wouldn't think we should be getting a time out error.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

yes but i am sure it because of the data size and how the chart data contains.

check the log file once and do for the same,

About logs you can refer to Logging ‒ Qlik NPrinting. You should check if there are some errors or share a copy of the log files.

You could also check if your hardware met the requirements Planning your deployment ‒ Qlik NPrinting or if you lack resources. For example, if you open the source document in QlikView Desktop from the Engine computer is it performing well or is it slow?

Is NPrinting Server and Engine/s installed on a reserved computer or are they in the same computer of a QlikView Server or Qlik Sense Server (not supported)?

Best Regards,
Ruggero

Ruggero,

Thanks for the information!  I will pass it onto our systems administrator to ensure that there aren't any errors in the logs and we have enough resources on the NPrinting server (it isn't on the same server as our QV environment).

The dashboard performs fine when the server copy is opened through my desktop version of QV.
