NPrinting Excel Pivot Field Collapse Fully not working

Hi All

i have just started to create a report with Nprinitng, April 2019. i'm using Excel as the template. i have decided to create some of the charts using pivot tables within the excel template using a datatable i have brought in from my Qlik Sense app using Nprinting Tables function.

My question is how do i create a pivot table with to row labels that stays collapsed when i preview the report? i have tried to select Collapse Entire Field in the template (see below image) but when this is previewed in Xlsx it shows them as expanded fully....

Thanks

Hi,

I suggest you to:

- create an Excel with macro template and associate the macro to the opening event. The macro will collapse the field

- send a support ticket with the request to add this improvement. I think right now pivot tables are always produced expanded

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Thanks @Daniel_Jenkins !

I would like to suggest you to add this to an article, I think it will be useful and more easy to be found 🙂
