NPrinting Excel populate blanks

Hi all

i'm creating an Excel document in Nprinitng. When the report is created I have some blank cells in the data which is correct however they are automatically populated with a "-" symbol. Is it possible to create the report so that it leaves blank cells blank? Or at the very least change it to something else? I would normally just manage it with a find and replace but there are "-" symbols used in other cell values which would be affected if i did this.

thanks

Hi,

When you open a new conversation, please remember to add the label with the correct version of Qlik NPrinting  and specify what type of template you are developing, if you are connecting to QlikView or Qlik Sense etc. Thanks

In your case I suppose you are exporting a table from QlikView or Qlik Sense. In that case you could set the null value symbol in the source document:

thank you. noted for future. i have checked and it's the source data table. the nulls are represented as "-" which carries through as a value. i will code around this. thanks
