HI

When running job manually you are likely to use different user. Make sure service account running your nprinitng server has:

  • access to access point if you are running report on qvp connection which should be preferred
  • access to the path: \\data\qlikview_test\Source Documents\ITApps\1.Application\ABC.qvw if you are using local connection
  • has QlikView user licenese leased from the server
  • is able to open a document you are trying to run report from

Solution:

Login/RDP  to the server where NPrinting server is installed as NPrinitng service account user and try to access this path. If you cannot - then make sure you grant access for this account.

to be frank NPrinitng account should be like administrators with full access to all paths to avoid those issue.

BTW - it is unlikely that there is anything wrong with your template!!!

cheers

Lech

Hi Thanks for reply Lech.

It was working good from last one year and getting error from last 3 days only.

1. we are using NPrinting service account with full Admin right

2. Named CALs assigned to QV desktop and Service Account in QMC

3. Checked with leased Lic as well

but no use.

did you actually login as a service account, and then open qlikview desktop and tried to open the qlikview document used in this report? This test would exclude any access issues.

Maybe some policies changed and got reapplied - it is work checking manually!

also check this:

Access violation at address 01B54D5C in module ‘NPrinting.exe’. Read of address 00000000 – SQL Serve...

There is another thing

If you have implemented any macros in the qlikview application, you will need to give the permission when you open it  for the first time with the nprinitng service account.

NPrinting account must be a local computer administrator.

Hi,

Before to go ahead with the investigation, I would to suggest you to upgrade to 16.8 that is the latest version.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
