NPrinting Objects Manipulation

Hi Everyone,

In NPriniting, all of the slides that are generated in NPriniting will be captured as images and pasted on the PPT slides.

Is there an option to manipulate the slides in the PPT by changing the underlying data  Also, will the KPIs be stored in the backend of PPT, so that a user can customize the output once it is printed?

Regards,

Jaswanth P

Hi,

In Qlik NPrinting PowerPoint templates you can insert QlikView and Qlik Sense objects as images as you say but also as native tables and native charts.

Detailed information about how to do this are in the official help site starting from the page https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2018/Content/NPrinting/PowerPointReports/Intro-PowerP...

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Thank you Ruggero, for the quick reply.

On the native table and charts - We can do changes to property settings like colour and adding legends but can end users be able to see backend data and make changes which will reflect in the PPT visualization?

Hi,

PowerPoint reports produced by Qlik NPrinting are normal PowerPoint files, as the ones you can manually produce. So the users have a complete control of them as when you send them PowerPoint files produced by a human.

The same rule is true for all other types of output formats. For example, when you send an Excel file it can be modified by the final user as a normal Excel file.

Note that data in sent reports are a photography of the data in your QlikView or Qlik Sense application at the moment of the report generation. If you update the source the reports are not connected so not updated.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
