Hello,
I am creating a Pixel Perfect NPrinting Report and I would like to have a column in my table that is only used in the Pixel Perfect Report.
Is there a way to show a column only for NPrinting Pixel Perfect On Demand using a condition? Maybe use a variable that is set by NPrinting?
I know that I can create another table but I want to be able to reuse my existing table.
Thank You,
Michael
You could create a filter in NPrinting and apply it to report, the on-demand filters are added to NPrintign report filters.
Into NPrinting filter you might add the variable or support filed that make true the visibility condition of the column of the exported table.
Let me know if it solve your problem.
You should be able to use conditional formatting using the technique and the condition rules and editor therein.
Note that if you are able to find a condition to hide a specific field in your row of data, the other fields will not auto-size to compensate.
So to workaround you might consider adding a full row of fields then overlapping with a single field that you want to conditionally show.
Apply conditions to the single field to show under certain conditions.
Apply conditions to the full row to show under the opposite condition for the single field.
I haven't tested this as it's the end of my day but theoretically it should work.
Kind regards...
Thanks Frank,
What I want to do is create a column in my Qlik Sense Dashboard that is not visible to the users in Qlik Sense but can be used in Pixel Perfect.
Basically I have some data in my Dashboard that I want to show in NPrinting but I don't want to see in qlik. I also want to avoid creating a qlik sense object just for NPrinting.
Is there any other way to create data in Qlik Sense that is not visible in Qlik Sense but can be used in NPrinting Pixel Perfect? This data is part of my data model in Qlik Sense.
Thanks,
Michael
@mstoler perhaps add a hidden sheet to your app?
Hello,
I am on an older version for now that can't hide sheets.
If I could hide the sheets would the tables in the hidden sheets work with NPrinting?
Michael

Hello,
That works.
Interesting that the hidden column appears in the metadata but I need to set the filter to show the column to use in the report.
Michael
Pay attention regarding metadata, you should enable the measure visibility condition to true for the user used in condition, otherwise it disappears next time you reload the nprinting metadata connection.
Hello,
Is the visibility condition available in Nov 2020 release?
if yes where do I find it?
Thanks,
Michael
Hello,
I'm talking about visibility conditions of measures in Sense.
