NPrinting Ondemand taking too long for generating Excel report

Hi All

I am using Nprinting version  April 2019 and i am trying to generate excel report through On demand, so for lines only it is taking 15 minutes to generate report and same report with different filter applied second time onwards taking maximum 20 seconds but for the first time it is taking between 10 to 15 minutes .

Can someone please help in this situation

Hi, below are few questions which could lead to behaviour you describe:

  • How big is your qvw document? 
  • How long does it take to open this document using qvp "qlikview desktop client" for the first time
  • Is this document optimized for use with NPrinting (minimized all objects used for report generation, removed expressions from captions, use of calculation condition on objects etc...
  • what settings do you have in: Document Settings-->Server tab:
    • is it exactly like this? If not - make sure it is!
