Hi
we use Version 16.9.0 SR9.
We use a Macro Task in order to export chart images to a a file. This works fine, but sometimes Nprinting unexpectedly closes the connection, making the macro and export fail. Is there a parameter or similar in the NPrinting settings, in order to suppress this when running Macro Jobs?
Thank you and regards! Marcel
Hi,
There is not a similar parameters, but I suggest you to create a QlikView Entity Report to export QlikView charts as images. After you can remove the macro from the qvw.
QlikView macros are not supported in Qlik NPrinting 19 and soon the 16 will reach the end of life.

Hi
We checked the logs and found that the connection is closed, because NPrinting considers macro execution as being finished:
-> "Message Terminate Task: Makro: ...
> "Message This task took 4 seconds to execute"
But in fact, the macro in QV is still running and not yet finished (the macro logs its command into a logfile).
So why considers Nprinting the macro execution as finished if this is in fact not the case? And how to prevent this?
Thank you! Marce
Hi,
Try to remove the flag to the option "Close connection when task ends".
If it doesn't work, place share some screenshots so we can see how it is configured.

Hi
The ExportBitmapToFile function crashed after ca. 40 exports, therefore, we switched to use NPrinting Excel HTML Report to produce the image file.
Thank you and regards!
