Can you share any steps you took to troubleshoot the issue?

Have you restarted the NPrinting server service?

I noticed that you have your NSQ in the template folder. Ideally you should have a dedicated NSQ folder. Not doing so at other sites has resulted in similar behavior.

I would strongly recommend a centralized folder structure on your NP server and NP designer computer such as the following:

c:\NPrinting

c:\NPrinting\templates

c:\NPrinting\NSQ

c:\NPrinting\temp

c:\NPrinting\qvws

c:\NPrinting\PersonalFolders

Set the full read right AD security permssions on the NPrinting folder above and the permissions with be inherited automatically to subfolders for the NPrinting server service account.

Stop and restart the scheduler.

Further, please check all the points in the following document available online to ensure that you have an fully configured NPrinting environment.

Configuring and Troubleshooting NPrinting Server Service and Schedules

This will not only simplify your permission management but will ensure relative pat

Hi Clinton,

In addition to Frank's excellent advice here is another possible cause:

Do you have NSQ's that have tasks but no active schedules in your NPrinting Server GUI files list?

In any case I would start by removing all the NSQ files & folders from the list and adding them back one at a time checking the log each time to determine the one causing the issue.

Let us know if this helps.

- Daniel.

I implemented the folder structure and also followed Daniel's advice to remove the NSQ files and reload one and a time.

The log file now shows the server running the jobs as scheduled and not running constantly

Thanks heaps
