NPrinting problem, cannot open Designer

NPrinting release April 2018

Designer is installed separately on my machine, and NPrinting installed on clients server.

A report has already been created in PixelPerfect and I want to open it and edit, but cannot.

I get this error message.

Thanks Gustavo for all the tips,

I ended up uninstalling Designer and installed Feb version and it worked.

Try:


0.- Make sure that the version number of the designer and the server are the same. See this in the control panel>programs in your machine and the server


1.- If it still does not work> Make sure you can connect to the server (check the firewall en your machine and the server): https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/Ports.htm.

Check the ports with "nmap -P0 SERVERIP"


2.- If it still does not work> Reboot your machine


3.- If it still does not work> Reboot the nprinting services in the server machine


4.- If it still does not work> Reboot the server machine
