New Service Account of N Printing Not Working

Hi techies,

I need to change current NP domain admin service user with new admin user. I have added it to admin group, logon as service and performance group but when I am changing the service user to new one then I am getting following error

Scheduler client certificate not found in store. Generating a new certificate from RabbitMQ CA key

for Web Service and Scheduler service logs.

Do I need to install NP with new admin account to make it service user if yes, is anyone heard about any bug or problem while backing up NP.

N Printing version is : Feb 2019 SR1

Unfortunately, currently this needs some manual steps and our team has been working to address this. So, please follow the procedure from the article:

Thanks for your input so I have to uninstall and install NP.  do you heard any bug or issue in backup and restore process for Feb 2019 SR1 ?

Hey Mate,

I have uninstalled my NP Sep 2018 version to test Feb 2019 restore process is working on not but land to the new trouble, NP Feb 2019 SR1 server package is not getting installed.

I have attached the failure log. Can you please help me to know why NP 2019 Feb SR1 is not installing ?

Hi,

Few things here. First of all, if you have made a backup of a certain version I would have installed the same version with the new user, restore the backup and then upgrade to the newer version.

Regarding your error, does this folder exist? Did you clear it? Do you have sufficient disk space?

If you try to upgrade again, are you seeing the same error and same folder?

No, I did not hear of any bug on the backup and restore on this version.

Dear Albert,

I had sep 2018 in my personal machine. I was trying to test backup and restore feb 2019 SR1 version so I uninstalled Sep 2018 and then when I try to install NP Feb Sr1 server setup this error comes. I am pretty sure Uninstallation of Sep 2018 removed some config file from program data folder, otherwise why I or anyone delete any file from program data folder. I tried several time to do installation but it is saying same error, Now which folder setup has removed and how to bring it back I have no clue but what is the status now, N printing is not getting installd in my machine anyhow.

Hi,

I think you are experiencing a bug that will be solved in September 2019.

You can open a support ticket so a support guy can help you or you can backup your installation, uninstall, reinstall exactly the same version with the new user and restore the backup. The restore of a backup can be done only to another  installation of exactly the same version.

Restore backup is far thing, I can't install NP server feb 2019 Sr1 on the machine from where I uninstalled it two days ago.
