Nprinting Connection Issue

Hi,

I am trying to connect Nprinting to  a qvw file which is located in a different server.

Both the servers are in the same domain and also the nprinting login have been assigned a named cal in the qlikview server.

I am using Nprinting version 17.6 and I have followed all the desired steps given in the manual.

But while making a connection I am getting error in the "Document Exists section".

Though my qvw is placed at the correct location and also I have mounted the folder but it sill gives the error.

Also I am using DMS authorization instead of NTFS.

I believe you have not followed all the steps from official help document as DMS is supported from NPrinitng February 2018

Always relate to https://help.qlik.com/en-US/ with the version you are using and make sure you meet all requirements from help document relating to your version.

cheers

Lech

other comments:

  • make sure you lease a USER call license on NPrinting engine box by opening QlikVIew desktop as a service account user. This allows QlikView to go through intial stage where Locale are set and license leased
  • you might want to upgrade to  NPrinting July 2018
  • make sure QlikView desktop and server are using the same version including SR
  • if you still have issues post a qvp connection string so we can investigate further

regards

Lech
