Nprinting connection to Qlikview file of another server

Nprinting connection to Qlikview file of another server

Good evening, I have a problem in creating a connection.
The route is this

192.168.100.4/E:/QlikView/Development/1_QVDs/Nprinting/Comercial_Ventas.qvw

nprin11.jpg

Can someone help me make a connection in this way?

Please

Thanks @Ruggero_Piccoli

Hi @gr_eldred,

The URL needs correction.

If you are using local connection the qvw file has to be accessible as in windows path. So you need to map the drive of your QV Server 192.168.100.4 as a network drive (say t: ) and use T: \Qlikview...\filename.qvw.

If you are using server you can use the qvp:// syntax.

Hi,

The connection string seems wrong. It seems a mix of a mounted folder E and the QVP url. If you use QVP it should be something like ServerName/Document.qvw.

If you are opening a QlikView document from a shared network folder you must use the UNC path like \\ServerName\Folder\Document.qvw. Mapped folders like E: are not supported.

In both cases you must be able to open the document from the QlikView Desktop installed in the Qlik NPrinting Engine computer.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
