Solved: Nprinting email without report - Qlik Community

Hi,

is it possible to send emails via Nprinting without Report ?

I try to add only an attachment but if there is no Connection Nprinting can`t send Mailing.

Any idea?

Hi Michael,

You must add a report. As a workaround it can be a very simple/small report - perhaps just one variable in it. Finally you can choose not to include it in the e-mail.

If you want to attach a different file but not your report:

In NPrinting 16 I believe if you embed anything into the email message it will send the email without reports attached.

In NPrinting 17 I don't think this is possible.

Thanks for your answer - but it doesn't work.

I use Nprinting 16.4.0.0 - use the Report Task - without Report I got the error "Connection is not specified"

Try putting a variable into the email body

Only can put a tag from recipient or Task - I tried with both tags - but Connection does not established - so I get the same error.
