Nprinting - how to combine two template

Dear All,

NPrinting‌ , djk‌, Avinashelite‌ , @Frank Savino

I have some query about the nprinting I have one template in that i have month wise sale chart for all  state.

My requirement is that I want one chart like all state and another chart like all separate state chart in one template.

Is this is possible?

Secondly, If i create two template for one is all state or second is for all separate state then

Can we combine  it to one template and scheduled.

Thanks

Hello All,

any solution on this?

avinashelite

You can do in both the ways .

1.If you need a separate chart of each state then use the LEVEL concept in NPrinting this will give the report according to each state in separate sheet but all will be in the same file or template

and for the other case create one more sheet in the same template but do not include the level in that this will give all the state in one sheet .

OR

2.you can create to two separate report one for all state and another one of each state as a separate sheet then while scheduling you can include both the report under the same task .

Hope this helps you

Hi Prashant,

Yes you will get a separate file for each report. However, you can have NPrinting compress all the attachments into a single achieve (.ZIP file). Details here How to Distribute User Specific QlikView Reports by E-mail and here How do I ZIP my reports?

Hi Prashant,

When making a copy of a report you should:

* Clone the first report

* Open the cloned report & click Edit on the ribbon

* click Save As in the Template Editor

* Enter a new file name so as not to overwrite the original template.

Regarding the zip file coming as separate do you mean that you are not getting a single zip containing all the compressed reports per e-mail? Have you selected the Compress option for both reports?

One clarification on your original requirement: do you want to have all states on the first slide and then a separate slide for each state all in the same PPTX report? If you provide a sample QVW and an example PPTX file showing what you expect as the result it will be much clearer.

HTH - Daniel.
