Omitting sections in N Printing like Crystal Report

Hi!

I would like to know if N Printing has the same feature of Crystal Report, for Pixel Perfect Report, to omit sections depending on some condition.

For example:

I have a pdf report with 5 sections and I want to distribute it to some users. But some of users, haven't specific sections, so I want that these sections aren't displayed and that the all visible sections are near each other without space among them.

Thanks,

Elena

Hi Elena,

You can conditionally hide detail reports so this should be possible. There are several examples if you search these forums. When a detail report is hidden the next section automatically moves up.

* Based on a variable - this is for a table but you can use this for the detail report as well: How to define a PixelPerfect DetailReport Visibility via Script (NPrinting)?

* Based on a field value: How to Manage PixelPerfect Conditional Output Formats Using the Formatting Rules Editor
