Problem occuring during creation of Nprinting reports

Hello Friends,

I have to create Nprinting reports using Qliksense app

Version 17.2.

But there is problem occurring during the selection of Connection at the time of creating reports

in Reports Main menu of Nprinting 17.2 i.e. there is no connection available for the selection.

Anyway I would check that the App used actually has Connections. You select the Connection when actually adding objects to the report template:

Hello Daniel,

the above image is related at designer desktop,I am talking about the Nprinting server->login as Admin->click on Report main Menu -> then during creation of  report-> there is option for connection selection using dropdown button(here No option for selection of available connection)  i.e. the main problem

Hi Ranjit,

When creating the report you must specify an App. An App can have several Connections - to both QlikView documents & Qlik Sense apps. When building the report template in the Designer you have the option to use objects from any or all these Connections. In other words: you can create a single report with objects from multiple connections - both Qlik Sense & NPrinting. Therefore you choose the App when creating the report entity - you select objects from the Connections in that App when building the template. In my opinion this is not a problem but a massive advantage!

I am asking about the problem i.e. arising at the time of connection selection for report type"QlikEntity"

in the main menu of Report in Nprinting ,there is no connection for the selection,PFA for more details

Why didn't you say so?

Entity reports only work with QlikView Connections (not Qlik Sense).
