Problem with Nprinting Word Report Template

Hi everybody! I am new in this area. I have a problem when I try to create a Word Report on Nprinting Designer version 16, release 2. The data connection to qvw file works fine and if I try to add objects from a model to template editor like images, it doesn't shows and all the application freezes but if I add objects like table its works fine. Somebody knows a solution for this problem or the reason? See the picture where I refered on this question. I don't have any message from an error to show you. Thanks for your help!

Hi Victor,

Does this happen with a particular QVW file or all files that are used as QlikView NPrinting Connections? If only for a particular file, could you share it? This will enable us to test.

Here are some troubleshooting steps I would take

  • Pick a different office template to test.  I use Power Point often instead of Word
  • Try a different QVW file.  Many people have uploaded qvw files here on this site.  Download one from the Resources section.
  • Check your User Preference Settings.  These are mine that I use and I can export imagesUser Preferences.PNG

I have not expreience any issues using iamges in either word or excel (the ones I use the msot).  What type of object/chart is causing the issue.

Does the system freeze when you run the reort through a task?  can you do a preview?

does the image work on tempaltes orther than word?

Hi Daniel, thank you very much for your help. The problem is with all files. If I use the same QVW file as local, not connected to the server, the problem is fixed, it's just only when I try to use QVW from the server remotelly.

Hi Victor,

If you are using QVP to connect to the QVW could you use the UNC path (\\Server\Share..etc) instead and let us know if the issue persists?
