Problem with creating pivot table and source table on the same sheet using excel template

Hello,

I'm trying to use the page feature for pivot table. And from a bit of research, I found it's possible with the updated NPrinting, but the source table and pivot table have to be on the same sheet. I created the pivot table following the steps on Qlik Help page. However after I created the pivot table on the same sheet, there is the error message when preview:  the row index should not be in the pivot table report.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi,

so to start with - share what version of Nprinitng you are using and how your template looks like (screenshot will do). We will take it from there.

cheers

Have you created enough space between the source and the pivot table. Also make sure to use a range and not the table name for the pivottable source.
My client has this working so should work indeed. (they have had this working for a few versions and are now on Sept.)

Hi,

There is a fixed bug on this topic. Please install latest Qlik NPrinting version available and try again.

Fixed bugs are listed in the Release Notes.

I agree with Lech, please always specify the version of the products you are using and add screenshots of the template. This made easier for us to help you. Easier means faster because we can directly give the correct answer only if we clearly understand the problem.

Best Regards,
Ruggero
