Publish Tasks are ending with a status of "Failed" when there are no error events therein

I'm using NPrinting February 2019 SR1. If a publish task contains warn events but no info or error events, it ends with a "Failed" status. The "Failed" status is causing my company's automated workflow to fail. If that same publish task contains at least one info event, it ends with a "Warning" status.

IMO, as long as the publish task doesn't contain any error events, it should end with a "Completed" or "Warning" status, never a "Failed" status; otherwise, how can automated workflows be written to respond to actual errors?

I submitted a support case to Qlik. The support person explained that this is the way the product is designed. He submitted Feature Request ID 2815 to the NPrinting R&D team. He also suggested I post the comment/question here.

Hello,

If you uploaded logs to the Case, would you be able to share the Case Number?

Are you using Qlik NPrinting with QlikView / Qlik Sense / or both?

Thank you,

Eva
