Qlick variable in dynamic naming

Hi guys,

I have a qlickview variable , and I try to use it for dynamic naming report in nprinting.

For dynamic naming, I selected: QlickVariables - %%vCurrentYear%%

In qv this variable returns current year 2020, but on nprinting  it shows 2019.

What could be the problem ?

Thanks.

Hi,

In Qlik NPrinting you can create a filter that sets the value of a variable as explained in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2020/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Static-dyna...

So check the filters, pay attention at the filters applied to the user because maybe you are setting the value of the variable via user filters.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Problem can be in whether your variable is a static value or expression. If it is expression it is likely deriving value based on data selected which in case of NPrinting is equivalent of applying a filter. Now the important thing is to consider where this filter is applied. Is it user based filter, or task or report filter?
