Qlik NPrinting import recipient template

Hi Everyone,

Qlik NPrinting Import recipient template should have 3 worksheets in a single excel.

1. Filters

2. Users

3. Groups

1. Filters worksheet must contain following columns:

NameDescriptionAppEnabledConnectionValuesNumeric ValuesFormulas

2. Users worksheet must contain following columns:

E-mailUsernamePasswordConfirm passwordDomain AccountEnabledTime ZoneLocaleNickNameTitleCompanyJob TitleDepartmentOfficeFiltersGroupsRoles

3. Groups worksheet must contain following columns:

NameDescription

Please don't hamper order of the names written.

Attaching the template as well.

My colleague samrat_g‌‌ helped me out on this and it's now working fine.

Hope this helps other Qlik NPrinting developers as well.

I just noticed today that in the NP web console on an individual User input screen, there is a field to enter "Description", HOWEVER, I do not see this field listed in the import user template.  Can anyone advise on this? I have many users to import and would like to utilize this field in the import because not only is it informative when looking on the main Users screen on the web console, but gives me a way to search for groups of users at a time.  Thanks.

New fields have been added to the import template.  Haven't tried it yet, but the new fields are:

  • Users tab - Description, Folder, Sub Folder, Read Password, Write Password
  • Group tab - Enabled

Thanks, these fields are available starting from September 2018. Older versions do not support them.
