Qlik Nprinting Backup and Restore

Hi all,

I would like to upgrade the NPrinting from 17.2 to latest version.

However, when i read the article Backup and restore of a repository ‒ Qlik NPrinting

It mention that A Qlik NPrinting backup can only be restored in an installation of the exact same version of Qlik NPrinting.

So what is the purpose of backup if i upgrade the NPrinting?

Both version must be different....

You do not need to backup and restore into a new version when upgrading. The backup is in case the upgrade fails for whatever reason and you need to roll back to a previous version.

When upgrading, the environment will be preserved. Please note the upgrade paths when going from 17.2 to the newest version, June 2017: Qlik NPrinting upgrade ‒ Qlik NPrinting
