Qlik Nprinting Server Installation error: 0x80070643

Hi,

I am trying to install Qlikview Nprinting Server 17.3  in a separate new server where only QLikview Desktop is alone installed.

When I try to install Qlikview Nprinting Server.exe, I am getting the following error in the log and it is getting rolled back again.

[0AA0:08A8][2018-05-16T07:02:50]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to install MSI package.

[0AA0:08A8][2018-05-16T07:02:50]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to execute MSI package.

[0EAC:0888][2018-05-16T07:02:50]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to configure per-machine MSI package.

P.S: I tried all the threads created here but couldn't find solution.I have also not used super user password with special character.

Kindly help me out!!!

Hi,

Since you are starting with fresh install my first question is why on earth are you trying to install 17.3 version which was very buggy and almost unusable?

Why don't you install the latest version April 2018?

The other thing is that you should install NPrinitng using the account which will run as a service account. This account should meet all requirements from official help document.https://help.qlik.com/

Are you running installer with elevated credentials as per official documentation?

Is your server meeting all system requirements as per official documentation?
