Hi,

We have issue with QlikNprinting Designer.

When we open editor, getting the ActiveX component embedded error & issue is only occurring for excel.

Server OS : windows 2016

Excel Version : Excel 2010.

Error : Qlik Nprinting designer cant find a supported reporting template editor for the file.

The associated COM server does not support ActiveX Document embedding.

Please help us to resolve this issue., Already tried the below link suggested but still issue occurs.

Hi,

This error appears when there are issues with the local installation of Microsoft Office. Be sure you installed a supported version of Office locally. If you have it try to uninstall and install it again. Sometimes this solved in the past because the reinstallation rewrote the Windows configuration registries.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi,

Changing compatibility settings should resolve the issue. Try restarting the services after settings.

Raise a support ticket with Qlik if that doesn't work.
