QlikView NPrinting truncates report

Hi,

I am using NPrinting Designer 16.5.0.0, NPrinting Server 16.5.0.0 and QlikView 11.20 SR15.

I have created an NPrinting report that is distributed via email to over 300 recipients based on their location ID. I am doing this on a weekly basis using the NPrinting server scheduler. The problem is that the first report in this job gvets truncated. The remaining reports go out without any issue. Any idea why this could be happening and what is the solution?

See attachment.

Thank you,

Viral Mehta

Hi Viral,

This is a known issue when using NPrinting 16.5 & QlikView 11.20 SR15 and above. You will need to:

  • upgrade to NPrinting 16.6 & QlikView 12.10 SR4 (or above and up to SR7)

OR

  • redesign your template to use the individual objects as images (as opposed to using the complete sheet)

See NPrinting 16.6 release notes, available on our download site, for details.

Starting from yesterday, also QlikView 12.10 SR8 is supported by Qlik NPrinting 16.6.

Thank you, Daniel.

However upgrading NPrinting and QlikView is a bigger project. Is there a workaround that can be used in the meantime?

For example, is it possible to send out the first report to a dummy email account so that the remaining reports are not truncated?
