Qliksense Native Straight Tables data + NPrinting + Output format PPT Issues

Hi,

We have Qliksense Tabular Data in Qlik native straight table and need PPT Output format using NPrinting.

Need multiple straight tables data in single slide

Qliksense and NPrinting both are NOV 18 versions.

Issue:

2nd table overlaps onto 1st table
2nd Table starts after 1st row of 1st table

Please help how to solve this

Thanks,

Narayana

Hi,

Based on your question sequence I strongly suggest you:

- to upgrade your Qlik NPrinting installation to latest version June 2019

- study very well the official help site https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/June2019/Content/NPrinting/Introduction/Introduction.htm als the videos in it are very useful

- follow a training course on Qlik NPrinting

- learn by working on simple training models

- work side by side with an expert Qlik NPrinting developer

Qlik NPrinting is an enterprise class software, you must do a training effort before to sit down in front of a Qlik NPrinting installation and start to work with it. What you are asking in your sequence of questions are normal way of working of Qlik NPrinting.

In this case, instead of drag and drop each table as a single tag, drag and drop them as columns so you will have the control of columns width and positions and you will be able to avoid overlaps.

Ruggero

Hi Ruggero and Community,

Sincere apologies for all the inconvenience with my sequence of questions all at once and basic questions.

Unfortunately, I do not yet have access to Nprinting software and kind of trying to help the team which is working on very short delivery timelines, so was trying to get some findings online to the questions they posed.

I have some theoritical knowledge with QCC training, it was very good with all setup process and nprinting features. I am yet to get acquainted with ms office tools and nprinting setup related to those nuances of how data is handled in ms tools.

Regarding solution suggested on having columns manually instead of table, one problem we have is the table which we are trying to drag into nprinting has dynamic number of columns, so if this is limitation of nprinting that only when individual columns used the overlap issue would be solved, we may beed to live with fixed number of columns in report.

Thanks & Regards,

Narayana

Hi,

If you have a short delivery time you need very skilled people that know in advance and very well what to do. Qlik NPrinting has a lot of features and it is a complex product that requires training and knowledge.

Maybe you could add the two tables on two different slides or create a single table in Qlik Sense instead of using columns. I don't see other solutions.
